What makes a good teacher?

Assalamualaikum and may ALLAH bless all Muslims~~
Hi Hi thanks for stopping by ^^

How's your fasting? How grateful we should be as we are able to experience Ramadhan again this year.  Alhamdulillah ya ALLAH... :)

What actually makes a good teacher? Just wondering because when I told my teachers about me getting the offer to enrol as a teacher trainee at IPGK PM, they told me that I will be a good teacher... Is that true or they only want to say sweet things to me? Um, I dunno, only they and ALLAH know, right?

I am just saying this because in this semester 2, I have to do a lot of lesson plans (my friends too). When I compare mine with my other friends', I feel so little. They seem to be prepared to be teachers... That's why I am asking you, what makes a good teacher? Does a good teacher need to have a good lesson plan...? Otherwise if he/she is not, he/she does not considered as a good teacher? Is that so?

Um, lately, I'm becoming more sensitive. I don't know whether it is because of hormone changes in the body or anything else but I keep feel that I am not belonged to the place where I am right now. When my friends say something to me, I feel hurt. Ah, how I hate what I am right now. Tired. Hate. Sick. I want to scream my heart out! :'(

No Need!

Assalamualaikum and may ALLAH bless all Muslims.. :)
Thanks for stopping by..

Today, I just watched WALL.E on TV1.
I think most of us already know about the film, so there is no need for me to elaborate about the story. After all, 'googling' is the easiest way to obtain information about it.. :)

But to my disappointment, the film was being translated into Malay language. I hate foreign films to be translated into Malay language, or other languages. If the film is in English, why must you translate it into other languages? Another example, Korean dramas; they are quite often to be translated into Mandarin. I don't know about you, but to me, it feels not right. I don't want to hear excuses about to uphold Malay language or anything like that and I'm not saying that I hate my own mother tongue, I just hate things that don't have the originality. Plus, through films, we can educate our own people about other languages. Relying and using only one language is something that doesn't broaden the mind, I afraid I might say that. There are already a lot of films and dramas in Malay language, so why must foreign films and dramas being treated like this?

Please let me know your opinion about this, my respectful readers.. n_n

tak sangka kot.. :)

Assalamualaikum.. Semoga ALLAH merahmati umat Islam sekalian.. ^_^
Terima kasih kerana singgah.. :)

Chinese? Yep, he is a Chinese man. Waktu jumpa dia kat Restoran Tawakkal, Rasa, Selangor hari tu, seyes, tengok dari jauh macam apek jual sayoq ja.. memang x nampak cam kontraktor.. Tapi that's the truth.
I don't know the reason of my parents choosing him as our contractor but seeing him on that day, I believe that he can do a good job on our house-to-be.

Uncle Ah Heng ni, I'm sure yang dia byk dpt projek tp look at his appearance, org x sgka pun. Kereta dia pun buruk gak.. xdaknya mercedes, lamborghini ke bmw ke.. Khalilah pun xtau keta apa yg dia pakai.. seyes, mmg buruk..Bukan nak mengata tp ini kenyataan.. Tercetuslah di hati Khalilah untuk membandingkan dia dengan diri Khalilah sendiri dan of course bangsa Khalilah iaitu Melayu.. org melayu ni, kebanyakannya agak boros dalam perbelanjaan. xpikiaq untuk masa depan langsung. ada yg baru dpt SATU projek, dh tukaq keta dh tukaq mcm2.. hai~ xtau la ap nk jadi..

Bukanlah nak suruh jadi penjimat sangat2 mcm Uncle ni tp cuma nk ckp "Bersederhanalah untuk masa hadapan. We don't know what'll happen in the future, right?"

Till we meet again..

My First Hello to You

Assalamualaikum and hello world! How are you today? I hope all of you are in good health.

Before going on further in the world of blogging, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Khalilah Ruslan and I am a 19-year-old young woman in the year 2011. I am an English teacher going-to-be but of course I still make mistakes in my writings, so in my upcoming entries (insya-ALLAH) please correct my grammar mistakes, sentence structures etc. thanks~ =)

I am the daughter of Encik Mohd Ruslan Mohd Shariff and Puan Kamariah Bahar and the third from four siblings. I was born in Kedah Darul Aman, the Ricebowl of Malaysia. I really love my family and Kedah state.

Now, I am studying in Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia (IPGM) Kampus Perempuan Melayu, Melaka and have four years more to go. Well, to be honest, being a teacher was not my first choice before but life must go on. So, days by days I try to adapt myself to this profession and I think I start to fall in love with it. Please pray for me that I can be a good teacher in the future...

The reason for me to make this blog having the title of 'written words' is because it is reflecting myself. I am better in expressing myself to people through writings. I love to play with words and compose them into sentences. Writing for me really helps in dealing my stress. Sometimes, I just scribble whatever words that come across my mind on a piece of paper and it is a satisfactory to see the paper full of words with different fonts and sizes.

Um, I think that's all from me for now. Hopefully blogging can improve the use of English for you and for me. Stay in good health and for Muslims, stay too in a good form of Iman. Assalamualaikum.
