Sweetest Memory 2011~ : Part 2

Malaysia XI vs Liverpool FC

16th July 2011. There was an event that I would never ever forget for the rest of my life - Liverpool players stepped on Malaysian soil for the first time.

My journey to Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil started when my father, my mother and my eldest sister picked me up at 11..15 am from this institution. We departed from Malacca at about 1pm and arrived at my brother's house at 3pm. Oh I forgot to tell you that my father bought the RM58 ticket because RM68 tickets were sold out. :(

At 4,30 pm, my brother sent my father and I to Sungai Besi LRT station. He could not drop us straightly at the stadium because he expected that there would be a traffic jam on the way there. My father and I boarded on a train to Bukit Jalil. The train was filled with people wearing RED shirts, including me and my father. The common thing that we had with each other made me personally felt that the whole train were my family members. ^_^

When we arrived at Bukit Jalil at about 5pm, I was so thrilled to see a sea of REDS there. With the air filled by excitement and sounds of blaring horns, and thousands of RED-shirted people, it was really a great scenery to be enjoyed that afternoon. Even though it was warm and the noise seemed unbearable, to my own shock, that was nothing to me. i could endure the situation which in the past, I would not go through it. I could not control myself from smiling to everyone there. It really could not be helped. I hoped none of them would think of me as a crazy little lady. :P

Before entering the stadium, my father and I had a look on the stalls selling jerseys, banners, stickers, et cetera. My father bought me a Liverpool jersey~ ^_^ There were other things that I wanted to buy but realising that I had caused my father too much trouble along the way to be there on that day, I kept the intention to myself. I did not want to cause my father any more trouble.

Suddenly, from afar, at about 5.20 pm, I heard people in the stadium roared. We quickly searched for the Violet Entrance and entered the stadium. When I read newspaper dated 17th July 2011, they said that at 5 pm, the players were already warming up on the field. I was quite disappointed but never mind, I could still watch them playing football! Didn't I? ^_^ We quickly searched for seats and when I looked around the stadium, i was very excited to see, again, the sea of wonderful REDS. It was estimated that almost 80 000 people came over to watch the match!

In the first-half, Liverpool new signing Charlie Adam opened the scoring for The Reds in a twice taken penalty. Shafiq Rahim then fired in the equaliser through a free kick.
In the second-half, Harimau Malaya almost gave me heart attacks. The match got tougher and I started to be afraid that Liverpool would be defeated. David Ngog scored two goals in the 67th and 68th. Maxi Rodriguez then scored one goal, making the score 4-1. Saffe Sali from national team scored two goals each in the 79th and 81st minutes, heightening the spirit of Harimau Malaya to win the game, but poor defence skills led the national team into despair as Liverpool had the triumph of winning the match 6-3 when Rodriguez and Dirk Kuyt scored in two more goals. The match ended at 7.40 pm.

Liverpool players paid the fans a lap of honour which is rare for us to see it!!! I was so delighted seeing them walking around the fields, waving and clapping their hands towards us. One of them, even kicked a ball towards a group of fans. Ah, I really love them! After the lap of honour, all the fans singing the Liverpool anthem, "You'll Never Walk Alone". ^_^

My father and I got stuck at Bukit Jalil until 9 pm. After the match ended, the LRT station was closed temporarily. Why, I don't know. When the officers let us in, some of the crowds chanted, "Liverpool, Liverpool" and when the train came and departed, they clapped their hands and cheered. It was so cute of them, wasn't it? ^_^ To end the almost-perfect day, my family and I had dinner at a restaurant named Tasik Idaman.

Liverpool big names such as Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and manager King Kenny were not there but still, the match was a worth of every money and time spent. Nine goals~ wohoo~ ^_^ Seeing Liverpool players on the field with my very own eyes, I could not ask for any other thing. My birthday is in a four-month time, but I already considered this as my most precious birthday present for this year. Thanks to my family, especially to my father because accompanied me watching this delightful match.

Here are some pics of the day:

Sweetest Memory 2011~ : Part 1

Assalamualaikum.. May ALLAH bless all Muslims..
Thanks for stopping by.. :)

This entry is actually re-post entries from my old blog.. Regarding today as the last day of 2011, I want to share with you my sweetest memory in 2011. This entry contains few parts. But don't worry, I will separate it into two entries because I know the suffering that you face when you have to scroll down too long till the end of the page.. Enjoy! :)

Entry 1: Thursday, 9 June 2011
Liverpool FC will invade Malaysia!!!

Assalamualaikum to all my great readers. May ALLAH bless all Muslims.
Hiya everyone! How are you today? Feelin' great? Alhamdulillah! ^_^

I think mostly everyone in Malaysia knows about this thing, right? Liverpool FC will come to Malaysia in July (insya-ALLAH). For your information, I am a Liverpool fan so this news really excites me! OMA! hearing about this news really makes me happy, what's more goin' to Bukit Jalil and see them with my very own eyes! If I go there, the person who I like to see most is Steven Gerrard, because he is my hero in football. Ya ya say whatever you want. For me, he is my great Liverpool captain. :)

I ask my father whether I can go to Bukit Jalil, and he has granted his permission, but I still need to look on other matters, including the ticket price and the transportation to go there because according to Kosmo! newspaper, it is on 16th July 2011 and it is Saturday. I am studying in Malacca and I am also afraid that my institution has programme on that day. Huhu -_-, So sad, huh?

Whether I can go or not, thinking about this thing really gets me have nothing inside my mind except the face of Stevie G~ OMA!!!

Arsenal and Chelsea will also join Liverpool to come to Malaysia, but on different dates.

Entry 2: Friday, 10 June 2011
It is already confirmed! ^_^

Assalamualaikum to all my great readers. May ALLAH bless all Muslims.

Nothing much today except I want to share a link for Liverpool fans in Malaysia and China.

The lowest price of the ticket is RM58 but I think I wanna buy the RM 68. Let's choose think in the middle. :) Hoho this is really exciting!!! ^_^ Tickets can be bought from www.ticketpro.com.my or you can buy at Ticketpro outlets or Adidas outlets.

To Liverpool fans in Korea, maybe Liverpool has made a better plan to visit your country in another time being. Please don't give up hope on them. The will not cancel the tour if they do not have problems to do so. Liverpool is a club that appreciate the fans.. ^_^

Entry 3: Thursday, 7 July 2011
It is such a disappointment..

Assalamualaikum and may ALLAH bless all Muslims...

Today, I won't write much. I just want to express my disappointment of not being able to see Steven Gerrard stepping on malaysian soil on 16th July 2011. It is not because i have not bought the ticket, it is not that I am not going to stadium to watch the match; it is because that Gerrard will not join his lads in their Asia Tour. It is really really a huge disappointment for me, a fan who fall in love with Liverpool Football Club because of one person named Steven George Gerrard. I am really looking forward to the day that will create a wonderful story in my life, but sadly, the person who is supposed to create the impact will not be there. My heart is broken into pieces when I read the article saying he ruled out from the Asia tour because he needs enough rest to start well in the next EPL season. I know, he really needs rest but um, I don't know, I still want him to come to Malaysia. I want to see him with my very own eyes, running skilfully on the field, waving his hands towards the fans, with a smile that shines brightly that also shines every heart of Liverpool fans. If HE permits, although Gerrard will not present on the historical day, I will still go to watch the match because it excites me to have them coming to Malaysia~ ^_^

I hope Steven Gerrard will recover soon and fit to start the new season with manager King Kenny. sharing hope with other Liverpool fans, we want to see The Reds to have the 19th title in their hands in the next EPL season.

My Brother is a Married Guy (Part 3) : وليمة العرس الثاني / Wedding Feast 2

Assalamualaikum.. May ALLAH bless all Muslims..
Thanks for stopping by.. :)

The second wedding feast for my brother was held on 24 December 2011.
The feast was great but I didn't enjoy it.
I feel quite disappointed because I invited my friends but only six of them managed to come to the walimah and I truly feel sad. At first, I was so excited to be the 'bunga telur' girl but as the clock ticking by, and I saw no other friends of mine coming to the feast, the excitement slowly dashed away. It's really true what our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) told us that we need to fulfil any invitation that we get. This feeling of sadness after seeing the people we invite do not come to the feast is unbearable, though I understand that they maybe got other important things to do.
I truly feel grateful to those six people. Thank you so much for coming.

I was also happy to see my teachers from  my secondary school (my mother is a teacher at the school) came to the wedding feast. I felt alive that I was able to kiss their hands and hug the closed ones. I miss them! :'(
One of my primary school teachers also came. I really love her. While eating roti canai, she chatted with me. I saw her teary eyes looking at me, with love. I felt touched. Not many teachers did that to me. She's like a mother.

I am sorry I couldn't tell much about the feast. As I said just now, I didn't enjoy the feast and I wasn't into it so I couldn't tell much... After the cameraman sends pictures to us, I will upload it here, insya-ALLAH. I think, pictures could tell better stories than I am.

Till we meet again..
Assalamualaikum..

My Brother is a Married Guy (Part 2) : وليمة العرس / wedding feast [re-post entry]

Assalamualaikum to all my great readers.. may ALLAH bless all Muslims..
Thanks for stopping by.. :)
[4 June 2011]
My family members including my newly wed bro departed from our house to the bride's house in Jitra after performing Zohor prayer. We arrived there at about 2.30 pm. Together with my sisters and cousins, we brought along the gifts for the bride.

After putting all those things inside the house, we were seated on VIP seat. Or Family Seat. Or whatever name you call that place.  That was my first time sitting on place like that during وليمة العرس. At first, it was an excitement to sit on a special place compared to other guests, and it was one of my dreams actually. But after having the honour as a family member, I found out that being a special guest was not special enough. The special menu that we had, differed from other guests were fired fish with sauce and 'bandung' drink. I don't know what type of fish was that and having 'bandung' drink with oily meals; they were not matched to be together. While eating, I missed the times sitting on ordinary seats like before. My parents ate with the brides and grooms.

We had our photos being captured by cameramen and women, not knowing how many times, while eating, after eating and when we were posing with the newly weds on the bridal set. i hate people capturing my photos. I know they would not do it right, even they are pro enough to take wedding photos. I just feel, cameras only feel right if they are in my hands.. *wink2 teethy smile* :)

I pray for them to have a blissful and blessed life as husband and wife and maybe months after,  father and mother. I wish them for the best. I took advice from an ustazah to give books as wedding gifts so I gave one to them.

Till we meet again..
Assalamualaikum.. :)

My Brother is a Married Guy (Part 1) : Akad Nikah Day [Re-post Entry]

Assalamualaikum to all my great readers.. May ALLAH bless all Muslims..
Thanks for stopping by.. ^_^

The akad nikah was held at a musolla in Jitra, Kedah on the 3rd  of June 2011 after the 'Asr prayer. There were three couples, including my brother and his fiancée, sister of my brother's fiancée and her partner and another couple whom I did not who they were. We were the last group to arrive there, but my brother was the first person to shake hands with the القاضي.

It happened very fast. My brother said the vows clearly and fluently. After that, my brother performed 'Asr prayer. Then, he hugged my mother, my sis and let my sister-in-law kissed his hand. We then went to the bride's house. My brother did not like to wear a ring so only his wife wears it. I know it's kinda weird but every person has different opinion about things, so just let him be. We enjoyed a small feast there.

Till we meet again..

No Need!

Assalamualaikum and may ALLAH bless all Muslims.. :)
Thanks for stopping by..

Today, I just watched WALL.E on TV1.
I think most of us already know about the film, so there is no need for me to elaborate about the story. After all, 'googling' is the easiest way to obtain information about it.. :)

But to my disappointment, the film was being translated into Malay language. I hate foreign films to be translated into Malay language, or other languages. If the film is in English, why must you translate it into other languages? Another example, Korean dramas; they are quite often to be translated into Mandarin. I don't know about you, but to me, it feels not right. I don't want to hear excuses about to uphold Malay language or anything like that and I'm not saying that I hate my own mother tongue, I just hate things that don't have the originality. Plus, through films, we can educate our own people about other languages. Relying and using only one language is something that doesn't broaden the mind, I afraid I might say that. There are already a lot of films and dramas in Malay language, so why must foreign films and dramas being treated like this?

Please let me know your opinion about this, my respectful readers.. n_n
Till we meet again.

tak sangka kot.. :)

Assalamualaikum.. Semoga ALLAH merahmati umat Islam sekalian.. ^_^
Terima kasih kerana singgah.. :)

Chinese? Yep, he is a Chinese man. Waktu jumpa dia kat Restoran Tawakkal, Rasa, Selangor hari tu, seyes, tengok dari jauh macam apek jual sayoq ja.. memang x nampak cam kontraktor.. Tapi that's the truth.
I don't know the reason of my parents choosing him as our contractor but seeing him on that day, I believe that he can do a good job on our house-to-be.

Uncle Ah Heng ni, I'm sure yang dia byk dpt projek tp look at his appearance, org x sgka pun. Kereta dia pun buruk gak.. xdaknya mercedes, lamborghini ke bmw ke.. Khalilah pun xtau keta apa yg dia pakai.. seyes, mmg buruk..Bukan nak mengata tp ini kenyataan.. Tercetuslah di hati Khalilah untuk membandingkan dia dengan diri Khalilah sendiri dan of course bangsa Khalilah iaitu Melayu.. org melayu ni, kebanyakannya agak boros dalam perbelanjaan. xpikiaq untuk masa depan langsung. ada yg baru dpt SATU projek, dh tukaq keta dh tukaq mcm2.. hai~ xtau la ap nk jadi..

Bukanlah nak suruh jadi penjimat sangat2 mcm Uncle ni tp cuma nk ckp "Bersederhanalah untuk masa hadapan. We don't know what'll happen in the future, right?"

Till we meet again..
Assalamualaikum :)
